Role: Business Development Manager

Reports To: Katie Johnson

Location: Atlanta

Workplace Type: We ask all employees to work a hybrid schedule, with a minimum 2x/week in their local office. We welcome employees to utilize office space more than that where possible.

The Role

We are seeking a relentless, commercially driven Business Development Manager to join our Membership Development division. Reporting directly to the Head of Memberships, this is an opportunity for a high-performing closer. Your mandate is clear: aggressively expand our elite community, drive strategic revenue growth, and directly influence the trajectory of the world’s most powerful procurement network.

Key Responsibilities

As a key individual contributor, you are the engine of our global expansion. You will own a high-potential territory and be tasked with inviting Fortune 500 companies into our exclusive network.

• Develop and aggressively execute a targeted business development strategy to identify and capture new enterprise member companies.
• Consistently meet and exceed individual quarterly and annual revenue and activity metrics. You don't just hit quotas; you redefine them.
• Build, manage, and accelerate a robust sales pipeline, delivering razor-sharp, transparent forecasting to leadership.
• Segment and relentlessly prioritize your territory to maximize yield, focusing on high-growth sectors and industries navigating critical ESG and supply chain transitions.
• Take control of the conversation. Teach C-level customers new insights, tailor your message to their urgent business realities. and confidently drive the sale to a close.
• Partner seamlessly with our Marketing, Research and Product teams to align our cutting-edge value proposition with the specific, evolving needs of modern procurement and sustainability executives.

Key Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of proven success in a high-growth, target-driven sales or commercial environment, ideally within professional services, advisory, or SaaS.
• Exceptional executive presence with an effortless ability to engage, challenge, and influence C-level leaders and senior stakeholders.
• Proven experience selling high-value, conceptual products such as exclusive memberships, executive education, or elite professional communities.
• A powerful personal brand that allows you to immediately position yourself as a trusted advisor to global business leaders.
• A deep, intuitive understanding of global business drivers, corporate strategy, and how procurement fits into the business value chain.
• The intellectual curiosity to pivot seamlessly across sectors, from heavy industry to big tech, rapidly identifying the unique supply chain friction points in each.
• A high degree of grit, determination, and the competitive drive to thrive in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment.
