Job Description

Atmos is one of Australia and New Zealand’s leading legal and advisory firms dedicated to providing cyber, privacy and digital risk services.

In a world of looming risks and crises, we are the protective sphere around our clients. We empower businesses great and small to move through uncertainty with clarity and confidence, using insight to transform challenges into opportunities.

As a team, we are united by a culture of deep collaboration, working closely together to do what is needed. We move at pace, keep things simple and deliver on our promises. Together, we are not only stronger, but better prepared.

That’s where we operate.

We bring together law, cyber intelligence, crisis communications and digital expertise, standing alongside our clients in their most critical moments. And we're growing.

Your Mission

As a Business Development & Marketing Executive, you'll work closely with senior leaders to support the firm's growth agenda. This role is ideally suited to someone with 2-4 years' experience who is looking to take ownership of initiatives, build commercial capability and accelerate their career within a high-growth professional services environment.

You will:

  • Lead the delivery of business development and marketing plans aligned with the firm's growth priorities, setting clear actions, managing competing priorities and driving initiatives through to completion
  • Lead key client and partner initiatives and events from concept through to delivery and follow-up, partnering with senior stakeholders to strengthen relationships and create business development opportunities
  • Own reporting across BD, campaigns, events and client initiatives, translating results into actionable recommendations and continuous improvements
  • Lead the development and production of on-brand marketing materials, including capability statements, brochures and event collateral, and design compelling presentations that communicate the firm's value
  • Lead pitches, proposals and tender submissions end-to-end, working with senior stakeholders to shape win themes, tailor content and credentials, and deliver persuasive submissions on time
  • Manage directories, rankings and credential submissions (Chambers, Legal 500 and similar), coordinating stakeholder input to strengthen the firm's market profile

What You'll Be Accountable For

  • Delivering agreed business development and marketing plans, with clear priorities, milestones and measurable outcomes aligned to the firm's growth objectives
  • Ensuring marketing materials, presentations, campaigns and submissions are accurate, compelling, on-brand and delivered to agreed deadlines
  • Driving stakeholder engagement and timely follow-through on client opportunities, pitches and proposals, with clear ownership of actions and next steps
  • Providing the Growth team with reliable reporting, commercial insights and recommendations to improve pipeline visibility and the effectiveness of BD and marketing activity

What You'll Bring

  • 2-4 years' experience in business development, marketing, growth or client-facing commercial roles, ideally within legal, advisory, professional services or a B2B environment
  • Demonstrated experience delivering business development and marketing initiatives from planning through execution
  • Strong commercial judgement, planning skills and attention to detail, with a track record of producing high-quality work
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously, influence stakeholders and deliver to deadlines
  • Experience using CRM systems (ideally HubSpot), including pipeline management, reporting and process improvement
  • Proven capability in campaign delivery, event coordination, marketing collateral, presentation development and pitch or proposal support
  • Excellent written communication skills with an ability to develop compelling, professional and client-focused content
  • A proactive, collaborative and hands-on approach, with the confidence to take ownership and drive continuous improvement
