Company Overview

American Family Care (AFC) is one of the largest primary and urgent care companies in the U.S. providing services seven days a week on a walk-in basis. Our state-of-the-art centers focus on the episodic treatment of acute illnesses and injuries, workers' compensation, and occupational medicine. Each location is equipped with an onsite lab and in-house x-ray capability.

AFC is the parent company of AFC Franchising, LLC (AFCF). This position works directly with a franchised business location. The specific job duties and benefits can vary between franchises.

Job Summary

AFC Urgent Care is seeking an experienced, highly motivated, and results-driven Senior Business Development & Marketing Manager to lead business growth across our three urgent care centers. We are looking for a proven business development professional who can independently identify opportunities, secure new employer accounts, develop strategic partnerships, increase patient volume, and generate measurable revenue. This is a hands-on, performance-driven position. We are not looking for someone who only manages social media, attends networking events, or distributes promotional materials. We need a strong business developer who can execute strategies, close deals, and deliver measurable results.

Responsibilities

  1. Occupational Medicine & Corporate Business Development
  • Identify and secure new employer accounts for occupational medicine services.
  • Develop relationships with HR directors, safety managers, business owners, and corporate decision-makers.
  • Promote workers' compensation treatment, DOT physicals, drug testing, pre-employment physicals, and other employer healthcare services.
  • Negotiate and secure employer service agreements within approved guidelines.
  • Build relationships with construction companies, transportation businesses, staffing agencies, municipalities, manufacturing companies, and school districts.
  • Grow revenue from existing employer accounts.
  • Reactivate dormant corporate accounts.
  1. General Urgent Care Patient Growth & Marketing
  • Develop and execute strategies to increase general urgent care visits at all three locations.
  • Build relationships with schools, colleges, athletic organizations, local businesses, community organizations, and other appropriate referral partners.
  • Coordinate targeted local advertising, digital marketing, community outreach, and promotional campaigns.
  • Work with approved marketing vendors to improve Google Business Profile visibility, online presence, and local search performance.
  • Identify opportunities to promote urgent care services, physicals, vaccinations, and other available services.
  • Monitor marketing performance and measure patient acquisition.
  • Develop location-specific strategies based on patient volume, competition, and community demographics.
  • Evaluate the return on investment of marketing activities.
  1. Sales Management & Accountability
  • Maintain a company-approved CRM system documenting all business development activities.
  • Track prospecting calls, emails, business visits, meetings, proposals, signed agreements, and follow-ups.
  • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline with projected revenue and expected closing dates.
  • Provide weekly written performance reports.
  • Track new employer accounts, activated accounts, patient visits, and attributable revenue.
  • Maintain a marketing calendar with budgets, campaign results, and measurable outcomes.
  • Present monthly performance reports for each AFC location.
  • Demonstrate measurable progress toward established monthly and quarterly goals.
  1. Strategic Leadership
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business growth strategy for all three locations.
  • Identify opportunities to expand market share.
  • Analyze competitors and market trends.
  • Manage approved marketing budgets responsibly.
  • Coordinate with clinic managers and ownership to ensure successful implementation of new business relationships.
  • Recommend strategies to improve patient volume, employer utilization, and overall revenue.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant education
  • Successful experience developing, implementing, and achieving results with sales and marketing strategies
  • Ability to conduct face to face sales appointments, cold and warm calling, including but not limited to direct-to-consumer, business, and physicians
  • Strong organization and communication skills
  • Possess the skills to be independent, motivated, and results-driven in establishing new business, following through with communication with all accounts, and being held accountable for the growth of business
  • Finalists will be required to present a proposed 90-day growth strategy for AFC Urgent Care's three Denver-area locations.

Compensation: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
