Job Description

  • Blink Charging Co. (Nasdaq: BLNK) is a leading owner, operator, and provider of electric vehicle (EV) charging equipment and networked EV charging services. We're on a mission to accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles by deploying thousands of charging stations across the United States and around the world.

What We Do:

Blink offers both residential and commercial EV charging equipment and connectivity to the Blink Network—a comprehensive cloud-based software that operates, manages, and tracks our EV charging stations and payment processing. Our charging solutions serve a diverse range of customers including multi-family residential and commercial properties, airports, colleges, municipalities, parking garages, shopping malls, retail parking, and more.

Why Blink:

  • Industry Leader: We're at the forefront of the EV charging revolution, building critical infrastructure for a sustainable future
  • Innovation-Driven: We continuously develop cutting-edge technology to improve the EV charging experience
  • Growth Opportunity: Join a rapidly expanding company in one of the world's fastest-growing industries
  • Mission That Matters: Every day, we're helping reduce carbon emissions and create a cleaner planet

Position Overview

Blink is hiring Business Development Managers to win strategic, multi-location, and enterprise opportunities, not single-site sales. Each manager owns one target vertical and is expected to lead MSA, multiyear, OEM, and rollout discussions independently, from first executive conversation through signature.

You will build Blink’s presence in your vertical, establish us as the preferred EV charging partner, and hand off executed programs to our Territory Sales Managers and Channel team for local delivery.

Here's What You'll Do:

  • Own the Vertical
  • Own and grow revenue in your assigned vertical through multi-site, enterprise, and strategic partnership wins
  • Develop deep vertical expertise: market trends, regulatory requirements, buying behavior, and key stakeholders
  • Build strategic account plans for top targets, mapping decision-makers, procurement paths, and rollout phasing
  • Lead Complex Deals
  • Lead negotiations and close MSAs, multiyear agreements, OEM and dealer-network programs, and portfolio rollouts on your own
  • Engage executives within your assigned vertical market
  • Structure deals (pricing, phasing, site qualification, service and network terms) with Finance, Legal, Operations, and Sales Engineering
  • Navigate multi-stakeholder buying groups and procurement cycles of 6–18 months
  • Build Pipeline and Presence
  • Run targeted outbound to executive decision-makers, including calls, email, and LinkedIn outreach
  • Engage industry associations, trade groups, and events to build pipeline and establish thought leadership
  • Develop vertical-specific value propositions, case studies, and ROI and total cost of ownership analyses
  • Execute and Collaborate
  • Hand off signed programs to TSMs for local site-level execution
  • Partner with Marketing on vertical collateral and go-to-market campaigns
  • Bring vertical requirements to Product and Engineering to influence the roadmap
  • Forecast accurately and maintain pipeline discipline in Salesforce

What You Bring to the Table:

  • 5+ years of B2B enterprise sales or business development experience (strong candidates typically bring 7 10), with at least 3 years focused on one of the target verticals below
  • Has independently led MSA, multiyear, OEM, or portfolio rollout negotiations from first meeting to signature
  • Experience with complex enterprise sales cycles of 6–18 months and multiple stakeholders
  • Documented new logo and quota attainment
  • Established network and relationships in at least one target vertical
  • Commercial acumen: pricing, deal structure, contract terms, and ROI modeling
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to speak the language of your industry
  • Willingness to travel
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or industry certifications preferred

Preferred

  • EV charging, energy, or infrastructure experience
  • Familiarity with EV incentive programs and how they shape enterprise rollout economics
