Servequip Ltd is a company in the Maintenance and Rental of Material Handling Equipment, including Port cranes.

Job Purpose
The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth for the business unit. The role is responsible for executing business development initiatives that expand market presence, achieve commercial objectives, and support long-term business growth.

Key Responsibilities
• Identify and develop new business opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Prepare and maintain commercial proposals, quotations, and agreements.
• Coordinate operational activities and ensure the efficient delivery of customer solutions.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure high standards of service and customer satisfaction.
• Oversee administrative processes, reporting, and documentation related to assigned projects and services.
• Analyse business performance and metrics and recommend initiatives to improve efficiency and profitability.
• Support the implementation of business development strategies and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or a higher qualification.
• Proven track record in the construction equipment or industrial equipment sector.

Other prerequisites
• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify and develop business opportunities.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills, with the ability to engage confidently with customers and stakeholders at all levels.
• A proactive, self-motivated, and results-oriented approach.
• Strong financial acumen with broad expertise in operational finance and problem solving abilities.
