The role:

The Business Development Manager plays a unique role in our Sales team, in that this position is designed to research, identify and understand the customer universe in your Region and to recommend which new customers we should bring on board to ensure we drive scale, reach and availability of our products throughout the region.

A well-presented, highly personable and efficient candidate who can work independently in a challenging environment. The ideal candidate must meet the following minimum requirements:

• Minimum 7 years’ experience in relevant field
• FMCG experience.
• Building Partnerships and Working Relationships.
• Advanced negotiation and influencing skills.
• Effective Communication.
• MS Office Skills.
• Planning and organising, and time management.
• Problem Solving & Reasoning Ability.
• Tertiary Qualification or experience equivalent would be an advantage.
• Market understanding and analysis.
• Identification of potential new customers.
• Negotiation and onboarding of new customers.
• Compliance and account set up adherence.
