The Business Development Manager drives sustainable business growth by identifying and developing new business models and target markets. This role extends the market reach of our products and services, with a clear focus on lifting customer retention and delivering increased sales turnover.
· Conduct in-depth market research, formulate business development strategies and develop go-to-market plans for target segments
· Build and maintain a high-quality, well-qualified sales pipeline with a steady flow of viable business opportunities
· Draft commercial proposals and lead end-to-end negotiation processes, collaborating with the sales team to hit annual new client, partnership and revenue targets
· Develop and nurture long-term key client and partner ecosystems, and drive upsell & cross-sell initiatives to maximize account value
· Provide regular pipeline reports, revenue forecasts and performance reviews to support management decision-making
· Develop and execute business growth strategies.
· Identify new market opportunities & potential clients.
· Build and maintain long-term partner relationships.
· Negotiate contracts, deals and commercial terms.
· Support sales team to achieve assigned sales & revenue targets of new business.
· Conduct market research and competitor analysis.
· Collaborate with internal teams on project delivery.
· Report on business progress and performance to management.
Educational Background
· Education in business, technology, engineering, or a related discipline.
Professional Experience
· Experience in new business development, sales and marketing in a competitive sector
· Comprehensive understanding of the target market and its trends
· Proven ability to develop effective relationships with multiple levels of customer organizations
· Very strong customer orientation and interdisciplinary thinking
· High network competency with excellent negotiating skills
· High level of self-initiative and a structured working style
· Problem-solving skills with a "hands-on" attitude and focus on fast execution
