Job Description

As a Business Development Manager you will proactively identify and secure new business opportunities within a specified sales territory. You will drive sales growth by understanding customer needs and aligning our products and services to deliver tailored solutions.

Your mission:

Drive increased business revenue by identifying and developing new opportunities
Build and expand the company’s presence and brand
Identify new markets and research emerging trends
Develop a network of contacts to attract new customers
Research and identify new business opportunities
Communicate with and visit customers
Manage a sales pipeline to meet annual sales targets
Develop deep product knowledge
Ensure customers receive the best experience
Qualify leads and uncover client needs
Develop and manage relationships with existing customers
Report appropriately to the Sales & Business Development Director when required
Promote and act in accordance with group policies, values, systems, and procedures

Your profile:

Strong commercial awareness and business acumen
Good understanding of the market and commercial acumen
Proven ability to win new business, cross-sell, and retain existing clients with profitable margins
Skilled in negotiating price changes with new and existing clients
Tenacity and drive to seek new business and meet or exceed targets
Achievement-driven and able to work to set KPIs and expectations
Previous experience in Business Development and Sales within a manufacturing environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficient PC/computer skills
Strong analytical skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver against deadlines
