The Opportunity
We are looking for a high-performing Business Development Manager to drive agency partnerships with a strong focus on High-Net-Worth (HNW) segment growth, including Indexed Universal Life (IUL) solutions. This role is key to elevating agency capabilities, activating impactful sales initiatives, and unlocking new revenue streams through premium product positioning. You will work closely with agency leaders to grow HNW portfolios, enhance advisory quality, and deliver differentiated client value.
Position Responsibilities
Partner with agency leaders to drive HNW business growth, with a focus on IUL and wealth-centric insurance solutions.
Design and execute targeted sales initiatives and campaigns to increase penetration of premium products.
Build and strengthen agency capabilities in HNW prospecting, financial planning, and case-based selling.
Identify and develop strategic opportunities for agency expansion, recruitment, and client segmentation.
Analyze sales performance and pipeline data to deliver actionable insights and sustainable growth strategies.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related discipline.
Minimum 5–8 years of experience in sales, business development, or agency management within insurance/financial services.
Proven track record in driving high-value sales and HNW client acquisition.
Experience in selling or supporting wealth solutions such as IUL, UL, or investment-linked products.
Strong stakeholder management, analytical, and influencing skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong understanding of HNW client needs, legacy planning, and wealth protection strategies.
Experience in developing and executing sales activation programs for premium segments.
Familiarity with agency distribution models and advisor development frameworks.
Professional certifications such as CFP, ChFC, PCE, or CEILI.
Ability to partner across teams to deliver integrated client solutions.
