Business Development Manager
We are seeking a driven and commercially minded Business Development Manager to join a growing remote recruitment business connecting top South African talent with leading UK companies. This role is ideal for a proactive professional who thrives on building relationships, generating new business opportunities, and driving revenue growth within the recruitment industry.
As a key member of the team, you will play an instrumental role in expanding our client base across the United Kingdom by identifying new opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and promoting our remote recruitment solutions. You will work closely with decision-makers, helping businesses solve their hiring challenges with highly skilled remote professionals.

Identify and develop new business opportunities within the UK market
Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients
Conduct outbound sales activities including cold calling, email outreach, and LinkedIn networking
Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through to closing deals
Understand client hiring needs and present tailored recruitment solutions
Collaborate with the recruitment team to ensure successful delivery of candidates
Maintain accurate records of sales activities and pipeline management within CRM systems
Achieve and exceed monthly sales and revenue targets
Attend virtual meetings and presentations with prospective clients
Stay informed about recruitment trends, market activity, and competitor offerings
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in business development, sales, or recruitment sales
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Experience working with UK-based clients or international markets is advantageous
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Confidence using CRM systems, LinkedIn, and sales outreach tools
Professional and consultative approach to sales
Reliable laptop or computer with stable high-speed internet connection
Ability to work UK business hours
