The role

As a Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in driving growth across Indonesia’s maritime, defence and logistics sectors. Working closely with senior leadership, you will identify and secure new business opportunities, build strategic partnerships and lead complex deal cycles from initial engagement through to delivery.

Day-to-day you’ll be required to:

• Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities across maritime, logistics and government sectors
• Leading end-to-end sales and bid processes, from opportunity development to proposal submission
• Building and maintaining relationships with senior stakeholders across government and industry
• Managing tender responses and ensuring compliance with procurement processes
• Collaborating with internal teams to develop solutions and transition opportunities into delivery

This role is based at Jakarta, Indonesia.

Essential experience of the Business Development Manager:

• Demonstrating experience in business development, enterprise sales or partnerships within Indonesia
• Delivering complex deals and managing sales pipelines in structured environments
• Working within maritime, defence, logistics or related sectors
• Building relationships with senior stakeholders and influencing decision making
• Applying strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills in a competitive market

Qualifications for the Business Development Manager:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Maritime Studies or a related field
• Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and English
