Business Development Manager – Complex Community Care
Location: South East England (Remote)
Salary: Circa £50,000 DOE + Strong Commission Structure (OTE £80K+)
Full-time, Permanent
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Development Manager to join a growing provider within the Complex Community Care sector. The organisation delivers high-quality, person-centred care to individuals with complex needs across community settings and has ambitious plans to expand its footprint across the South East. With a strong operational infrastructure and a reputation for responsive, clinically-led care, the business is seeking a commercially driven individual to lead regional growth and secure new care opportunities. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with an established network across ICBs, case management companies and healthcare commissioners who thrives in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities

Drive business growth across the Complex Community Care market in the South East
Secure new care packages and develop long-term partnerships with commissioners and stakeholders
Build and maintain strong relationships with ICBs, case managers, and healthcare professionals
Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to increase market share
Identify and pursue new business opportunities across community care services
Oversee the performance and development of the business development function
Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of team members where required
Monitor KPIs, pipeline activity, and gross profit performance
Work closely with operational and clinical teams to ensure successful mobilisation and delivery

Requirements

Proven experience in business development within Complex Care or Community Care
Existing relationships with ICBs and/or Case Management companies in the South East
Strong understanding of healthcare commissioning and care package mobilisation
Track record of securing and growing complex care business opportunities
Commercially driven with excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills
Ability to work autonomously in a remote environment
Leadership or team management experience (desirable)
