The Role: The Tip of the Spear (Direct Enterprise Sales)


Who We Are:

We are an industry-leading solutions distributor with a massive footprint. Historically, our success has been driven entirely through channel and partner networks. Now, we are changing the game. We are launching a brand-new, high-impact Business Development division dedicated entirely to
direct, end-user sales.


Your Mission:

This is a pure hunter role. We are looking for a relentless Business Development Manager to report directly to our BD Director and spearhead our direct-to-enterprise initiative. You will not be sitting back managing partner portals or waiting for channel leads. You will be actively identifying, engaging, and closing enterprise end-users. While we still collaborate with our partners,
you

will own the direct relationship with the client from the first handshake to the final signature.


What You’ll Actually Do


1. Pure Hunting & Pipeline Generation


  • Build and ruthlessly execute a targeted account strategy to break into new enterprise logos.


  • Prospect, pitch, and create a robust pipeline of direct-to-end-user opportunities from scratch.


2. Deal Execution & Complex Navigations


  • Run the entire sales cycle directly with the end-user: from discovery and solution-mapping to negotiation and closing.


  • Co-navigate deals alongside our partner ecosystem when necessary, while firmly holding the steering wheel on the end-user relationship.


3. Shape a New Division (Intrapreneurship)


  • Act as a founding member of this new BD department. Provide on-the-ground feedback to the BD Director to help shape our direct sales playbooks, go-to-market strategies, and pricing models.

You will know you're crushing it when you are consistently hitting your direct-sales quota, landing net-new enterprise logos, and proving that our direct-to-market strategy is a massive revenue driver.


Requirements


Your Arsenal (Requirements)


  • The Hunter's Resume:

    3+ years of proven, quota-crushing B2B direct sales experience. (Channel/Partner managers looking to stay in channel management need not apply).


  • End-User Expertise:

    You have a verifiable track record of closing complex deals directly with enterprise stakeholders and decision-makers.


  • Agility:

    You are comfortable operating in a "startup" environment within a larger, established enterprise. You don't need a perfectly paved road; you know how to build the path.


  • Persuasive Communicator:

    Exceptional presentation and negotiation skills. You know how to map complex solutions to actual business pain points.


Who This Role is NOT For


  • "Farmers" or Account Managers who prefer to nurture existing accounts rather than hunt for new business.


  • Traditional Channel Managers who rely entirely on resellers to do the heavy lifting and closing.


  • Order-takers who need inbound leads handed to them to hit their targets.
