Main Objective:

Working alongside the Regional Business Development Manager to develop and implement strategic sales plan for the SEA, Hong Kong and Taiwan market. Will be responsible for developing and executing marketing plan based on the market data, which will encompasses both customers and competitors insights.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Distributor Business Management

  • Support the development and execution of short‑term and long‑term market plans in alignment with regional strategy.
  • Drive operational follow‑through on distributor business plans, growth initiatives, and investment commitments.
  • Spearhead monthly and quarterly business reviews with distributors to track performance, identify gaps, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Monitor distributor KPIs, including revenue attainment, portfolio mix, launch progress, and key activity milestones

Revenue & Forecast Management

  • Consolidate and analyze distributor sales forecasts against budget and historical trends.
  • Identify risks and opportunities within forecasts and propose mitigation or acceleration actions.
  • Support revenue planning discussions with data‑driven insights and scenario analysis.
  • Consolidate demand forecast with distributors and partner with planners to ensure supply

Market Development & Go‑to‑Market Execution

  • Execute portfolio and country focus initiatives based on addressable market size, market insights, and regional priorities.
  • Support product launch readiness and execution in collaboration with Marketing, Medical Education, Regulatory, and Operations teams.
  • Track rollout milestones and ensure distributors execute agreed launch and commercialization plans.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

  • Act as a key connector between distributors and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of commercial, medical education initiatives, regulatory & operational efficiencies.
  • Partner with Medical Education to support distributor training and healthcare professional training activities.
  • Collaborate with Marketing on campaign execution, congress planning, workshops, and regional initiatives.

Market Intelligence & Channel Development

  • Collect and synthesize competitive intelligence, customer feedback, and market insights from distributors.
  • Support assessment of go‑to‑market models and provide data‑backed recommendations for optimization.
  • Drives and assesses distributor capability, performance, and compliance with regional standards.

Governance & Financial Discipline

  • Support monitoring of distributor account receivables and follow up on payment status in collaboration with Finance.
  • Ensure distributor activities comply with company policies, compliance standards, and contractual obligations.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting to support audits and internal reviews.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Life Sciences, or related discipline.
  • Min 3 years of experience in arthroscopy, orthopedics, sports medicine, or healthcare‑related commercial roles.
  • Prior exposure to distributor‑led or multi‑country regional business management preferred.
  • Good written and verbal English communication skills are required for the role.
    Additional language skills such as Mandarin, Japanese, or Korean would be an advantage and may be helpful for communicating with regional stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, basic lookups), PowerPoint, SharePoint/Teams, Power BI; familiarity with contract-management or CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, DocuSign CLM) is a plus.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:

  • Strong Business Acumen: Understands commercial drivers, financial fundamentals, and market dynamics.
  • Execution Excellence: Translates strategy into structured, trackable action plans and ensures follow‑through.
  • Analytical & Detail‑Oriented: Comfortable working with sales data, forecasts, and performance metrics.
  • Stakeholder Management: Able to collaborate effectively with distributors and cross‑functional internal teams.
  • Clear Communicator: Communicates with clarity across cultures and organizational levels.
  • Proactive & Ownership‑Driven: Anticipates issues, proposes solutions, and operates with a high level of independence.
  • Adaptable & Resilient: Thrives in fast‑paced, evolving regional environments.
  • Business Travel Willingness to travel extensively across SEA markets (approximately 40–50%).
