Business Development Manager – Complex Care
Leeds
Salary: Competitive Base + Commission + Benefits
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Development Manager to join a well-established and highly respected specialist Health & Social Care recruitment provider, operating nationally with a strong presence across complex care markets. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially driven professional to take ownership of a warm and developing market, driving new business growth while shaping long-term client relationships across the region.
Key Responsibilities
  • Drive new business development across the Complex Care sector in Leeds and surrounding regions
  • Build and manage strong relationships with care providers, case managers, and commissioning teams
  • Identify and secure new complex care packages within the community and supported living markets
  • Work closely with internal recruitment teams to ensure successful service delivery and mobilisation
  • Develop long-term strategic partnerships with key stakeholders across health and social care
  • Maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities and manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to close
  • Attend client meetings, networking events, and sector-specific forums
  • Contribute to regional growth strategy and market expansion plans

Requirements
  • Proven experience in business development within Health & Social Care or Complex Care
  • Strong understanding of complex care packages and commissioning processes
  • Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong commercial awareness with a track record of winning new business
  • Ability to work independently and manage a fast-moving pipeline
  • Confident communicator with strong negotiation skills
  • Knowledge of domiciliary care, supported living, or community complex care services (desirable)
