Position summary:
As an originator and part of the Garda Cash Logistics National Business Development team, your primary responsibility will be new business development for the Cash Automation, Retail and/or Financial Institutions industries. Successful candidates will join one of the most successful and exclusive sales teams in the industry to manage and develop business partnerships with prospects within assigned regional areas. As the primary contact, you will develop strong working relationships with your prospects and know the key decision makers within Treasury, Risk Management, Regulatory Compliance, Finance, Sourcing and Procurement departments. The incumbents will focus on shareholder value creation through consultative, proactive and disciplined client marketing and prospecting effort. The position entails assuming the role of a strategic product specialist and a trusted advisor. Core to this role will be the ability to understand and articulate “total return on investment” and the attractiveness of Garda’s innovative suite of product and solutions. This position requires building relationships with managers at various seniority levels within all stakeholders’ departments at client organizations.
Responsibilities:
• Design and execute strategy to establish and solidify position of Garda as a preeminent cash logistics provider in assigned regions and nationally.
• Solidify reputation as a trusted advisor deploying consultative approach to generating new business with targeted prospects.
• Establish and implement sales strategies to penetrate and develop specific prospects in assigned regional markets.
• Identify strategic opportunities and establish sales tactics for each target prospect to develop new revenue and business opportunities.
• Increase Garda’s share of client wallet.
• Manage internal partnerships in development and presentation of complete tailored proposals to decision makers at client organizations.
• Proficient knowledge of Garda’s entire product and services offering.
• Perform effectively within cross-functional teams (internal/external) that include representation from product development, marketing and operations.
• Complete timely sales reporting including opportunities updates, sales forecasts, call reports, and tracking of contract expiration agreements.
• Ensure completion and execution of accurate contract documentation and liaison with administration and billing departments.
• Represent and exemplify Garda’s core values and business principles.
• Consistently maintain a professional image by appearance, communication and collaborative working relationships with Customers, Prospects, Branch, Region and Corporate Garda Management Team.
• Travel is required.
Qualifications & Requirements:
• A minimum of 1-2 years of sales experience with complex and long sales cycle management
• Qualified candidates would exemplify a proven record of accomplishment in transaction leadership, structuring, execution, negotiation and technical expertise coupled with acknowledged strong new business development and relationship management proficiency.

• Demonstrated ability to identify and qualify opportunities, perform needs assessment, present and close new business
• Self-starter with an evidenced prioritization skills and ability to take ownership of the assigned tasks and work autonomously with minimum or no supervision
• Strong marketing, presentation and pitching skills of multiple, integrated product/service solutions to mid- and high- level executives at retail organizations and or financial institutions
• Position requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in business management
• Working knowledge of physical cash management practices within the financial services or corporate and retail industry a definite asset
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to establish effective relationships with all levels of management
• Aggressive prospecting, leads generation and cold calling skills are required
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
