We’re seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager to drive Industrial Vacuum Solutions (IVS) growth across Victoria and other parts of Australia. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical capability, commercial awareness, and a passion for building long‑term customer relationships.
In this hands‑on, customer‑focused role, you will identify new opportunities, expand market presence, and support customers across key industrial sectors. You will work closely with sales, supply chain, and technical teams to ensure the delivery of high‑quality IVS solutions and an exceptional customer experience.
The role requires agility, strong communication skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Identify, research, and secure new business opportunities across targeted industries.
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and pipeline goals.
Act as the primary point of contact for IVS enquiries, ensuring accurate and customer‑centred solutions.
Deliver product demonstrations, presentations, and tailored proposals.
Lead tender submissions and support new customer onboarding.
Maintain accurate reporting, CRM records, and account documentation.
Share product knowledge and market insights with the wider team.
Participate in trade shows, training sessions, and improvement initiatives.
Undergraduate degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
Minimum two years’ experience in technical or industrial sales.
Proven capability managing full sales cycles and developing new business strategies.
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate technical solutions into customer value.
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder‑management skills.
Highly organised, self‑driven, and able to work independently.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a current driver’s licence.
Must be available to travel within Victoria and occasionally interstate. Involvement in hands‑on demonstrations, which may include occasional lifting or towing of equipment.
