Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our NI APAC FN Presales Asia North department. The successful candidate will be a key contributor to our team, responsible for developing and executing strategies to meet the evolving processes, technology needs, and business objectives of our external clients.

  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities within the APAC region, focusing on the financial services industry.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders at client organizations.
  • Translate client requirements and business cases into effective strategies and solutions, leveraging Nokia's expertise and offerings.
  • Articulate the value proposition of Nokia's solutions and services to clients, highlighting the benefits and impact on their business.
  • Engage with clients to understand their processes, technology landscape, and pain points, and propose tailored solutions.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive customer engagement plan, ensuring effective interaction and collaboration with clients.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify potential business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, engineering, and product management, to ensure a seamless delivery of solutions.
  • Provide consulting services and expert advice to clients, guiding them through complex business and functional issues.
  • Monitor and report on the performance and impact of implemented solutions, ensuring client satisfaction and continuous improvement.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field, with a strong preference for a Master's degree.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a business development or sales role, preferably in the financial services industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully identifying and closing new business opportunities, with a focus on enterprise-level clients.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to understand and translate client requirements into actionable strategies.
  • Experience working with financial institutions and a deep understanding of their processes, challenges, and technology needs.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, fostering a collaborative and trusted partnership.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant business tools and technologies.
  • Willingness to travel within the APAC region as required for client meetings and business development activities.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory, with proficiency in additional languages being an advantage.
