Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development Strategy:

    Develop and implement a strategic business development plan to identify and secure new clients across the UK and Ireland.
  • Market Research:

    Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients and assess market trends, ensuring a competitive edge.
  • Client Engagement:

    Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients, understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions.
  • Sales Pipeline Management:

    Create and manage a robust sales pipeline, tracking progress and ensuring timely follow-up on leads.
  • Networking:

    Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote the company and generate new business leads.
  • Collaboration:

    Work closely with internal teams, including marketing and operations, to align strategies and support client onboarding.
  • Performance Metrics:

    Set and achieve sales targets, providing regular reports on progress and performance to senior management.
  • Proposal Development:

    Prepare and deliver compelling proposals and presentations to prospective clients.
  • Feedback Loop:

    Gather client feedback to enhance service offerings and improve client satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Experience:

    Minimum of 5 years of experience in new business development, preferably within the healthcare or recruitment sector.
  • Track Record:

    Proven track record of successfully securing new clients and meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Communication Skills:

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Relationship Building:

    Strong interpersonal skills, with a focus on building long-term relationships.
  • Strategic Thinking:

    Ability to think strategically and identify opportunities for growth in a competitive market.
  • Self-Motivated:

    Highly self-motivated with a strong drive to achieve results.
  • Adaptability:

    Flexibility to adapt to changing market conditions and client needs.
  • Technology Proficiency:

    Proficient in using CRM systems such a Eclipse and other sales tools to manage client relationships and sales processes.
