Job Description

The incumbent will be responsible for developing new business opportunities with a focus on Air & Ocean freight with the objective of driving revenue growth and improving overall company profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities within the General Freight (Air & Ocean) segment.
• Proactively source and develop a strong pipeline of potential customers aligned with the company’s growth objectives.
• Follow up on leads and convert prospects into long-term clients.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry dynamics to uncover new business opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to enhance retention and generate repeat business.
• Participate in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) initiatives to strengthen engagement with both new and existing clients.
• Collaborate closely with Commercial and Operations teams to ensure service excellence and customer satisfaction.
• Achieve assigned sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Requirements

• Minimum 3–4 years of experience in business development or sales within the logistics or freight forwarding industry.
• Strong commercial acumen with a results-driven mindset.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to deliver impactful presentations.
• Strong negotiation and closing skills.
• Self-motivated, driven, and able to work independently to achieve targets.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications.
• Prior experience in logistics and freight forwarding (Air & Ocean) is required.
