Job Description
New Business Development:
ï Identifying potential clients, and the decision makers within the client organization
ï Lead a highly-skilled sales & marketing team to run campaigns while ensuring 100% ROI.
ï Manage overall sales function to maximize sales, volume & revenue for delivering the organizational objectives.
ï Manage the company's brand marketing initiatives, supporting sales, and lead generation efforts using market research and analysis to direct marketing strategy, planning, and execution
ï Prospecting for potential new clients and turn this into increased business.
ï Setting up meetings between client decision makers and company’s practice leaders/Principals.
ï Planning approaches and pitches. Assisting the team to develop proposals that speaks to the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives.
ï Participating in pricing the solution/service.
ï Handling objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements and working through differences to a positive conclusion. Using a variety of styles to persuade or negotiate appropriately.
ï Presenting an image that mirrors that of the client.
Client Retention:
ï Presenting new services and enhance existing relationships.
ï Working with internal colleagues to meet customer needs.
ï Arranging and participating in internal and external client debriefs.
ï Business Development Planning
ï Attending industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends.
ï Presenting to and consult with senior management on business trends with a view to develop new services and expansion opportunities.
ï Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators.
Management and Research:
ï Understanding the IMC’s goal and purpose which will be instrumental to enhance the company’s performance.
ï Ensuring all team members represent the company in the best light.
ï Presenting business development training and mentoring to business developers and other internal staff.
ï Forecasting sales targets and ensure they are met by the team.
ï Submitting weekly progress reports and ensure data is accurate.
ï Ensuring all team members represent the company in the best light.
