Your role in our team

As a Business Development Manager, you play a pivotal role within our organization, contributing to our broader value-driven growth strategy. You work closely with internal stakeholders and maintain strong relationships with partners across the ecosystem.

In this role, you serve as the central point of contact for expanding our solution portfolio within a key partner community. Your mission is to ensure ongoing focus on our products and services, identify opportunities for business development, and drive growth in both engagement and order volume.

Your overarching goal is to attract new business, strengthen existing partnerships, and continuously expand our market presence. You proactively translate opportunities into concrete commercial results and enhance our position as a trusted partner in the industry. With your entrepreneurial mindset and commercial drive, you turn potential into performance and deliver sustainable growth.

The position in a nutshell

In this role, you will:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for a key partner channel, driving growth across the solution portfolio.
  •  Identify and attract new business opportunities by positioning the right solutions and creating tailored proposals in collaboration with internal teams.
  • Manage revenue, margin, and performance targets, ensuring consistent achievement of commercial goals.
  • Develop and execute business plans, forecasts, and partner programs to strengthen market presence.
  • Enable and support partners through training, presentations, and ongoing follow-up to increase engagement and expertise.
  • Analyze market trends and partner potential, translating insights into concrete actions that accelerate business growth.

What we’re looking for

To succeed in this role, you bring:

  • Experience in Sales, Account Management, or Business Development within the IT sector.
  • At least 5+ years of relevant field sales experience in a similar role (within distribution or vendor environments is a plus!).
  • A strong commercial drive with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Knowledge of server and storage portfolios.
  • Excellent communication skills in Dutch and French.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, with advanced Excel proficiency.
  • A solution-oriented mindset and the ability to think strategically.
