Job Description

Crane Worldwide Logistics is a leader in supply chain solutions with over 130 locations across 30 countries providing individual services that address our client's logistics challenges.

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for the strategic account acquisition and revenue generation. Responsible for building pipeline, win high-value customers, and deliver measurable commercial impact across air, ocean, and integrated logistics solutions.

This position is ideal for a competitive sales professional who thrives in a target-driven environment and is motivated by performance-based rewards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver and exceed defined quarterly and annual new business revenue targets.
  • Develop a robust, high-quality sales pipeline.
  • Expand market presence across assigned EMEIA territories.
  • Secure profitable, long-term customer contracts.

Essential Job Functions:

New Business Acquisition

  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities across target markets
  • Develop and execute structured territory growth plans
  • Engage decision-makers at senior and executive levels
  • Lead prospect meetings, solution presentations, and commercial negotiations
  • Convert opportunities into contracted revenue aligned with margin objectives

Pipeline & Sales Execution

  • Maintain strong pipeline coverage aligned to revenue targets
  • Drive disciplined CRM reporting and accurate forecasting
  • Monitor performance metrics and adjust strategy to ensure goal attainment

Commercial Strategy

  • Lead and coordinate RFQ/RFP processes for strategic accounts
  • Collaborate with regional pricing and product teams to build competitive, profitable solutions
  • Negotiate pricing and service agreements with strong commercial discipline


Market Intelligence & Expansion

  • Analyze competitive landscape and identify growth opportunities
  • Strengthen brand presence within key verticals and territories
  • Act as a regional ambassador for the organization

Experience & Qualifications

  • 5–7+ years of successful business development experience within freight forwarding or logistics
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding new business revenue targets
  • Experience in airfreight, ocean freight, and integrated logistics solutions
  • Strong negotiation skills and executive presence
  • Ability to operate effectively within a multinational, matrix environment
