Job Description

Job Purpose and Impact

The Business Development Manager will develop ways to increase sales and revenue from new Foodservice Business from Cargill. The focus will be on Cargill’s few Strategic Account in the QSR space, with a dedicated focus on these accounts. In this role, you will develop and implement business plans, build and nurture relationships with various executive level stakeholders and lead innovation session, create a pipeline of opportunities and deliver on these projects. You will have access to a broad portfolio of solutions, a dedicated R&D and Insights team and be instrumental in driving growth with Strategic accounts in SEA.

Key Accountabilities

  • Translate Strategic customer needs into business strategy to develop a pipeline off value adding opportunities
  • Closely collaborate with R&D, innovation & insights team to put forward solutions that create sustainable market growth.
  • Recognize and pursue for business development with Strategic accounts.
  • Prioritize market segment development activities and set revenue targets.
  • Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues.
  • Collaborate with ANZ team on shared opportunities.
  • High degree of travel required to customer locations in SEA & Singapore innovation center
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience;
  • Minimum of four years of related work experience in food industry;
  • Other minimum qualifications may apply

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree or other post-secondary degree
  • Five to ten years experience in combined sales, marketing and business development.
  • Maneuver comfortably through complex policy-, process- and people-related organizational dynamics.
  • Hold self and others accountable to meet commitments.
  • Effectively build formal and informal relationship networks inside and outside the organization.
