As a Business Development Manager, you’ll be responsible for driving new business opportunities and building strategic partnerships across the apprenticeship and skills market.
Key responsibilities include:
Identifying and securing new employer and partner relationships
Promoting apprenticeship and assessment services to new and existing clients
Managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract negotiation
Building long-term relationships with key stakeholders and employers
Working closely with internal delivery and compliance teams to ensure high-quality outcomes
Achieving and exceeding revenue and growth targets
You will ideally have:
Proven experience working for an End-Point Assessment Organisation (EPAO) or Awarding Organisation (AO)
A successful track record in business development, sales, or partnerships within the education, training, or apprenticeship sector
Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
The ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage your own pipeline
