We are an experienced petrochemical sales team based in Korea, focused on building strong client relationships and driving growth across new and existing accounts. Our team thrives on collaboration, solution-oriented selling, and exceeding customer expectations in a dynamic market environment.

About the Role:

We are seeking a Business Development Manager – Koreato join our team. This role is primarily focused on generating business from both new and existing clients. You will be responsible for contacting and qualifying prospects, explaining our products and services, proposing tailored solutions, and closing new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator with superior people skills, comfortable presenting products and services both over the phone and face-to-face, and adept at handling sales objections.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead business development activities and develop growth strategies to acquire new clients.
  • Build, manage, and close a pipeline of qualified customers for our products and services.
  • Demonstrate solutions with a focus on customer business objectives, exceeding sales targets and facilitating future opportunities.
  • Ask insightful questions to understand customer requirements, purchasing dynamics, and contracting processes.
  • Maintain accurate customer information in Salesforce.com and relevant CRM databases.

Requirements:

  • Natural communicator, confident on the phone and skilled at engaging senior staff in business discussions.
  • Highly self-motivated, energetic, and able to build strong relationships quickly.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with proven ability to conduct cold calls effectively.
  • Strong focus on solution sales and selling on value, with prior experience in a Business Development Manager role.
  • Commercially minded with a strong drive to succeed in a high-performing sales team.
  • Flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of a changing market and diverse decision makers.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally abroad.
  • Fluent in English and native-level proficiency in Korean.
