Background
Plan International is an independent development and humanitarian organization advancing children’s rights and equality for girls. Plan International has operated in Indonesia since 1969 and became national entity (Yayasan Plan International Indonesia/ YPII) in 2017. YPII is currently implementing Country Strategy 5 (FY 2023–2027), which aligns with Plan International’s global purpose to advance children’s rights and equality for girls. The strategy focuses on building a Healthy, Educated, Empowered, Safe and Resilient Generation across Indonesia. Our ambition is to enable at least 3 million girls and young women to Learn (gain skills for work), Lead (empower to take action on issues that matter to them), Decide (have control over their own lives and bodies), and Thrive (grow healthy and protected from violence). To achieve these goals, YPII implements high-quality programmes, strategic partnerships, and evidence-based influencing to remove barriers that prevent girls and young people from enjoying their rights and participating equally in society. The operating context in Indonesia is increasingly shaped by VUCA conditions (volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous). These dynamics require YPII to continuously adapt, innovate, and secure diverse and sustainable funding sources. Within this context, Business Development Manager plays a central role in steering program development, securing high-quality grants, and positioning YPII for sustained growth, innovation, and influence.

Plan International is an independent development and humanitarian organisation that advances children's rights and equality for girls. We believe in the power and potential of every child, but know this is often suppressed by poverty, violence, exclusion and discrimination. And it is girls who are most affected.
Working with children, young people, supporters and partners, we strive for a just world, tackling the root causes of the challenges girls and vulnerable children face. We support children's rights from birth to adulthood and we enable children to prepare for and respond to crises and adversity. We drive changes in practice and policy at local, national and global levels using our reach, experience and knowledge.
For over 85 years, we have rallied other determined optimists to transform the lives of all children in more than 80 countries. We won't stop until we are all equal.
