About the Role
We are looking for a Business Development Lead to join our Global Aftermarket Management Team. In this role, you will work closely with our global commercial aftermarket organization, partnering with market companies across all regions and reporting directly to the Global Aftermarket Manager.
This is a highly visible role where strategy meets execution. Working alongside senior commercial leaders, you will help accelerate profitable aftermarket growth by leading strategic initiatives, developing commercial tools, and supporting our global sales organization. Your work will directly influence business decisions and be presented to our Corporate Management Team (CMT).
This is far from a traditional back-office position. You will own projects from concept to implementation, collaborate with stakeholders across the business, and play a key role in strengthening our global aftermarket offering.
If you're looking for a role with significant exposure, international collaboration, and outstanding opportunities for professional growth, this is an excellent opportunity to make a real impact.
What You'll Do
Your mission is to maximize the value of our global aftermarket business by driving profitable growth in service and spare parts while enabling our organization to deliver the reliability, uptime, and safety our customers depend on.
Sales Execution & Commercial Development
Execute the global aftermarket go-to-market strategy together with our Market Companies.
Support proactive sales initiatives that increase service penetration across the installed base through sales analysis, customer insights, and market intelligence.

Produce sales analyses, forecasts, and reports that support strategic decision-making and continuous business improvement.
Coordinate commercial initiatives across regions to ensure alignment and effective execution.
Offering & Business Development
Develop, maintain, and launch new and existing aftermarket offerings, including business cases, pricing strategies, and customer value propositions.
Coordinate the implementation of physical and digital service offerings together with Product Companies, Sales, and Operations.
Create and maintain commercial documentation, sales presentations, product information, and customer-facing material.
Continuously improve aftermarket offerings, pricing models, and commercial processes based on business performance and market feedback.
Sales Enablement & Market Engagement
Support the global sales organization through training initiatives, commercial guidance, and sales enablement tools.
Collaborate with local sales teams on customer analyses, quotations, and key business opportunities.
Participate in customer meetings and workshops when required.
Gather market insights to identify opportunities for new offerings and process improvements.
Work closely with Sales, Service, Product Management, and Operations to strengthen customer relationships and grow the aftermarket business.
Who You Are
Structured, analytical, and highly results-oriented, with excellent planning and follow-up skills.
Commercially minded with an interest in business development, sales, and customer relationships.
Experience within aftermarket, technical sales, customer-facing roles, or service organizations is an advantage. Experience with contracts and service agreements is considered a plus.
Background from the marine, energy, transportation, building, or other industrial sectors is beneficial but not required.
Comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels—from engineers and account managers to Managing Directors and executive leadership.
An excellent communicator who enjoys coaching, sharing knowledge, and enabling others to succeed.
Proactive and hands-on, with a strong sense of ownership and the ability to turn ideas into action.
Curious, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced international environment where priorities may evolve quickly.
Skilled at building relationships and collaborating across cultures and functions.
Capable of creating clear, compelling commercial presentations and communication materials.
Motivated to learn, develop, and take on increasing responsibility.
