This job posting is a new position within our organization in Canada.

Compax is looking for a motivated Business Development Executive with experience in telecommunications technology sales and a genuine interest in helping Communication Service Providers modernize their business platforms.

This role is ideal for someone who has developed a foundation in telecom sales or presales and wants to grow into a senior consultative sales professional. The candidate should be comfortable discussing technical concepts with customers while focusing on business outcomes and long-term relationship development.

Your profile:

• 3–6 years of experience in telecommunications sales, account management, presales, or business development.
• Exposure to BSS/OSS, telecom software, cloud platforms, MVNO/MVNE ecosystems, CRM, billing, or related technologies.
• Solid technical background in telecommunications, networking, software engineering, or IT, enabling effective discussions with customer technical teams, solution architects, and product specialists.
• Ability to understand network architectures, BSS/OSS ecosystems, APIs, cloud technologies, and system integration concepts while translating technical capabilities into business value.
• Ability to understand customer requirements and collaborate with technical teams to develop solution proposals.
• Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Fluent (professional) English is mandatory; Spanish and/or Portuguese are considered a strong asset.
• Based in Canada, preferably near Ottawa, ON, with availability for customer travel throughout North America.
