Business Development Executive (New Business Sales – IoT / Connectivity)

C2C Package: R500,000 – R600,000 OTE (60% Basic / 40% Commission)
About the Role
We are looking for a driven, results-focused New Business Sales Executive to join a fast-growing IoT and connectivity solutions business.
This is a pure hunter role focused on acquiring new clients, building a strong pipeline, and closing deals within the IoT / telecoms / connectivity space.
Key Responsibilities
Drive new business development through cold calling, networking, and lead generation
Identify, qualify, and close new sales opportunities
Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to deal closure
Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline to consistently achieve targets
Promote and sell IoT, connectivity, and SaaS-based solutions
Develop and execute a sales strategy within your assigned vertical
Engage with clients to understand needs and present tailored solutions
Negotiate commercial terms and close deals
Maintain accurate pipeline tracking and reporting via CRM
Work closely with internal product and support teams to ensure successful delivery
Minimum Requirements
5+ years new business sales experience (non-negotiable)
Proven track record of closing deals and hitting targets
Experience selling complex / solution-based offerings
Strong hunter mentality (this is not an account management role)
Experience in IoT, telecoms, connectivity, or tech solutions highly advantageous
Existing network / client base is beneficial
