
Business Development Executive (Mid-Level) - Zoho Software

Salary: 800,000 after tax + performance bonuses
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Executive with proven experience in selling Zoho products to drive revenue growth through new client acquisition, account management, solution selling, and deal closure. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of client business processes and be able to translate them into tailored Zoho-based solutions that deliver tangible value.
Sales & Business Development
Identify and generate new business opportunities for Zoho solutions across multiple industries.
Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, product demonstrations, proposal development, negotiation, and deal closure.
Sell Zoho products including CRM, Books, People, Inventory, Projects, Mail, Analytics, and other ecosystem tools.
Maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified leads and consistently achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Conduct market research to uncover new verticals, customer needs, and strategic partnership opportunities.
Client Engagement & Solution Design
Assess client business processes and recommend appropriate Zoho solutions.
Collaborate with implementation teams to develop solution blueprints and configuration requirements.
Conduct requirement-gathering sessions and coordinate proof-of-concept (POC) demonstrations.
Provide consultative guidance throughout the sales and onboarding process to ensure client success.
Account Management
Manage and grow existing accounts through upselling, cross-selling, and promoting additional Zoho solutions.
Build strong, long-term client relationships and ensure high customer satisfaction.
Track and follow up on renewals, subscription expansions, and contract upgrades.
Documentation & Reporting
Prepare accurate sales reports, forecasts, proposals, and presentations.
Maintain detailed lead and customer records in CRM (Zoho CRM preferred).
Provide insights on customer feedback, competitor activities, and market trends to inform strategy.
Mandatory Skills
5 - 7 years of proven experience selling Zoho products (CRM, Books, People, Inventory, Projects, etc.).
Deep understanding of the Zoho ecosystem, licensing models, and solution capabilities.
Experience conducting product demonstrations and client presentations.
Strong B2B sales acumen with the ability to close deals independently.
Solid understanding of business operations, workflows, and automation processes.
General Requirements
Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Experience selling SaaS, cloud solutions, or business automation tools is advantageous.
Proficiency in using Zoho CRM for lead management is preferred.
Achievement of monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Lead-to-deal conversion rate.
Revenue growth from new and existing accounts.
Customer satisfaction and retention metrics.
Accurate pipeline management and timely reporting.
