We are seeking a Business Development Executive to support our DHS efforts in the Washington DC area. Please see below for the job description and desired qualifications;
The ideal candidate will possess a combination of proven experience with Tribal 8a or Alaskan Native Corporation direct award process and the Shipley-based competitive bidding process. The successful candidate deeply understands the government contracting landscape, has a proven track record of winning contracts through competitive bidding processes and 8a direct awards, and has a strategic mindset to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to drive growth
Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders in government agencies, prime contractors, and industry partners to identify potential business opportunities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop compelling proposals that address client needs and differentiate our from competitors
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends, potential competitors, and areas for differentiation
Drive revenue growth by achieving submit and win targets and expanding our portfolio of government contracts and new market areas
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking forums to promote our capabilities and establish thought leadership
Stay abreast of regulatory changes, policy updates, and government initiatives that may impact the government contracting landscape
Provide regular updates on business development activities, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts to senior management
