The Role

We're looking for a proactive and commercially driven Business Development Executive to help accelerate our growth within the sports industry.

In this role, you'll focus on generating new business opportunities and building relationships with sports organizations, leagues, clubs, federations, broadcasters and commercial partners. While you'll work closely with the wider commercial team, your primary focus will be identifying opportunities, opening doors and creating meaningful conversations with potential clients.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone at a junior or medior level who enjoys networking, business development and building relationships, and who is excited by the intersection of sports and technology.

What You'll Do

• Identify, research and pursue new business opportunities across the sports industry.
• Generate qualified leads through LinkedIn, networking, industry events and other outbound activities.
• Build relationships with key decision-makers at leagues, clubs, federations, broadcasters and sports organizations.
• Conduct outreach campaigns and schedule introductory meetings with prospects.
• Represent Beyond Sports at selected industry conferences and events.
• Stay informed about developments in sports technology, fan engagement, broadcasting and digital innovation.
• Work closely with Account Management, Product and Leadership teams to translate market opportunities into commercial opportunities.
• Maintain and develop the commercial pipeline using HubSpot and other sales tools.
• Support the preparation of proposals, presentations and commercial materials.
• Contribute to company-wide revenue goals and commercial growth initiatives.

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of experience in business development, sales, partnerships or a similar commercial role.
• Experience generating new business and creating opportunities through proactive outreach.
• Comfortable initiating conversations with new prospects and building relationships from scratch.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Professional working proficiency in English.
• A structured and proactive way of working, with a hands-on mentality.
• Interest in sports, technology or innovation.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic and fast-growing environment.

Nice to Have

• Existing network within professional sports, leagues, clubs, federations, broadcasters or sports technology companies.
• Experience selling to or working with sports organizations.
• Knowledge of how sports organizations are structured and who key stakeholders are within these organizations.
• Experience with HubSpot or similar CRM platforms.
• Additional language skills.
• Experience working in sports, media, broadcasting or technology sectors.
