About the Role & TeamWhile this role is not open at this time, we are actively identifying and engaging with high-quality Customer Success Manager candidates in anticipation of future openings. This posting allows us to get to know potential talent, understand the market, and move quickly when timing aligns. Candidates who apply may be contacted for an exploratory conversation or kept in mind for upcoming opportunities.What You’ll Do

  • Undertaking direct sales of IDC events portfolio (Pan-European, local Summits and Single-sponsor events) to European account base to meet annual quota.
  • Collaborating with IDC Events BD Team members and European account managers to identify event opportunities within assigned accounts across Europe.
  • Proactively researching and identifying new opportunities and new prospects to sustain and build healthy pipelines.
  • Collaborating with event managers to align on timing, delivery and scope for events.
  • Delivering strategic and bespoke proposals and pitches to senior level contacts, over the phone and face to face as well as identifying opportunities for upsell.

  • Attending conferences as commercial lead ensuring high level of customer service, successful delivery of sponsorships and identification of repeat business opportunities.
  • Working on each event to map clients to event types and topics best suited to support their offering's and objectives.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely CRM records in Salesforce, ensuring full visibility of leads, activities, and pipeline.

What You Bring

  • Hunter Mentality: Self-driven, results-oriented, and skilled at pipeline generation. 2+ years of sales experience, with a proven track record in business development.
  • Proven experience in managing the full sales cycle, including prospecting and direct engagement.
  • Strong passion for acquiring new logos with a successful track record of onboarding major clients.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a remote team environment.
  • BA/BS level degree or equivalent.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Strong presentation, writing, critical thinking, and negotiation skills.
  • Self-starter with good organization and time management skills; able to work at fast pace, to achieve targets & business goals.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to work across IDC local business units Globally.
  • Strong presentation skills to senior level decision makers.
  • Must have the ability to travel from time to time.
  • Hybrid work model.
