Achieve personal Operating Income target.
Promptly send quotations to clients and maintain a very close follow-up on all quotations sent out.
Prepare weekly sales visit plan and enter details of the visit in GAC Sales system.
Ensure that credit approvals are in place for all credit clients handled by the sales team.
Assist the Finance department in maintaining the receivables from credit accounts within agreed terms.
Actively pass-on sales leads to sales teams within GAC company and overseas GAC Companies and agents.
Similarly try to capitalize on all sales leads and convert them into business.
Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Self-motivated, results-driven, able to work independently and cross-functionally with operations and solutions
Understand the 3PL business module such as knowledge of or direct exposure to warehousing/distribution operations, value-added services and ideally Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or related technology.
B2B & B2C sales experience is highly valued; an established network of potential clients (importers, e-commerce, manufacturers, distributors, etc.) is a major advantage.
Experience generating leads, managing the full sales cycle (prospecting → proposal → negotiation → close), and meeting/exceeding sales targets.
3 to 5 years of experience in business development
Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
Strong client base also can be added advantage.
