Purpose of the role

We are currently looking for a Business Development executive to join our Sales team in Vilnius.

This is a target-driven Business Development role for an ambitious sales professional with a strong hunter mentality and a passion for winning new business. We are looking for someone who is motivated by overachieving sales targets, building client relationships, and converting opportunities into revenue.

The Business Development executive will be responsible for driving new business across Central Eastern Europe and the CIS region, managing the full sales cycle from prospecting and cold outreach to discovery, solution selling, negotiation, and closing. The ideal candidate is confident reaching out to new prospects, uncovering client needs, handling objections, and moving opportunities forward. Strong communication skills, curiosity, a proactive mindset, and a determination to succeed are key to excelling in this role.

Key accountabilities

  • Own and achieve individual revenue growth, sales, and activity targets across the assigned territory.
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through proactive prospecting, cold outreach, networking, and consistent follow-up.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, from initial contact and discovery through solution presentation, negotiation, closing, and successful onboarding.
  • Conduct effective discovery conversations to understand client needs, challenges, business priorities, and buying decisions.
  • Lead commercial discussions, negotiate proposals and agreements, and confidently handle objections to move opportunities forward.
  • Maintain accurate forecasts, CRM records, and pipeline visibility to support business planning and decision-making.
  • Develop strong client relationships through regular engagement, including face-to-face meetings and business travel when required.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver value to clients and contribute to overall team success.
  • Demonstrate ownership, accountability, and a consistent focus on achieving results.

Requirements

  • Strong commercial mindset with a proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets in a target-driven environment.
  • Experience in B2B sales, SaaS sales, consultative selling, or a similar business development role.
  • Confident in prospecting, cold outreach, pipeline building, and managing opportunities through the full sales cycle.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Consultative approach with strong discovery skills and the ability to understand client needs and provide relevant solutions.
  • Resilient, persistent, and proactive, with strong ownership, accountability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced international environment.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
  • Interest in FMCG industries and experience working with FMCG clients is highly desirable.

The role has a salary of €35,000.00 - €45,000.00 per year , dependent on experience.
