Business Development Director (EPM-2026-25481):
Bowhead seeks a highly experienced Business Development professional to catalyze new business growth for our Engineering and Project Management (EPM) Business Line and our National Capital Region market operations.As a Business Development Director, you will be responsible for brand awareness, building, managing, and maturing the Capture opportunities in your pipeline to compete for new business. The individual will be responsible for establishing, maturing, and managing a pipeline of new business opportunities expanding support to our Navy customer. The ideal candidate will have superior communication skills and experience working with Navy organizations.
• Develop, mature, and maintain a qualified pipeline of competitive opportunities that support UICGS offerings focused on Navy operational related needs and requirements.• Leading capture efforts that effectively mature new business opportunities through a Shipley gate process and result in the successful submission of winning proposals.• Actively participate in the development and submission of winning proposals to include close collaboration with leadership, subject matter experts, proposal managers, contracts, pricing, and talent acquisition teams.• Establish effective communication networks with government stakeholders and industry partners to qualify opportunities and gain a better understanding of operational requirements.• Build and foster new relationships with government stakeholders and industry partners.• Manage approved Capture and B&P allocations for a pipeline of new business opportunities.• Identify, plan, and execute strategies to maintain and expand our existing support to Navy customers.
SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Ability to maintain a Secret clearance. US Citizenship is a requirement for a security clearance.

• Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically
