Business Development Coordinator

RWDI is seeking an ambitious and motivated individual to join us as a full-time Business Development Coordinator in our Trivandrum office. Working alongside the Regional Manager from South Asia and Middle East, the successful individual helps drive and develop business relationships forward during this important time.
The Business Development Coordinator supports the Business Development Lead in the execution of regional business development and marketing initiatives. Working under the guidance of the Senior Business Development Coordinator, the role focuses on assisting with research, CRM administration, client outreach support, digital content creation, proposal coordination, and marketing activities. Key Responsibilities
Research:
- Assist with researching companies, projects, and key individuals to identify potential clients, new contacts, regional opportunities, and market intelligence.
- Support the identification and tracking of regional project opportunities and leads.
- Assist with researching architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) market trends and compile findings for internal reporting.
- Maintain and update the CRM database with contacts, opportunities, client interactions, and company information.
- Assist with identifying and tracking relevant conferences, exhibitions, industry associations, and networking events across the region.
Planning and Coordination:
- Assist with the implementation of regional business development plans and marketing initiatives under the guidance of the Senior Business Development Coordinator.
- Coordinate logistics for business development trips, client meetings, webinars, conferences, and regional events.
- Assist with tracking business development budgets and expenses.
- Support the coordination of internal meetings, schedules, and follow-up actions related to business development initiatives
Client Outreach and Relationship:
- Assist with client outreach activities via email, phone, and LinkedIn to coordinate meetings and follow up on business development activities as directed by the Senior Business Development Coordinator.
- Support the planning and coordination of client events, webinars, networking activities, and regional marketing initiatives.
- Assist with maintaining client contact records and follow-up activities within the CRM.
- Prepare contact lists, meeting schedules, and supporting information for business development meetings.
Digital Content and Marketing Support
- Assist with creating and coordinating digital marketing content, including LinkedIn posts, newsletters, email campaigns, event promotions, presentations, and other business development collateral.
- Support the development and maintenance of capability statements, brochures, presentations, and marketing materials
- Coordinate with the Marketing & Communications team to ensure brand consistency and timely publication of regional content.
- Assist with monitoring digital engagement metrics and compiling campaign performance reports.
Proposal Support:
- Assist with the preparation and coordination of proposals, expressions of interest (EOIs), qualifications, presentations, and bid submissions.
- Coordinate the collection and organization of project information, resumes, references, and marketing materials required for submissions
- Maintain proposal templates, marketing collateral, and supporting documentation.
Administrative and Team Support
- Provide administrative and coordination support for regional business development activities.
- Maintain organized records of business development initiatives, marketing assets, client information, and regional activities.
- Work collaboratively with the Senior Business Development Coordinator, technical staff, and Marketing & Communications team to support business development objectives.
- Undertake other business development and marketing support activities as assigned by the Senior Business Development Coordinator.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Bachelor's Degree, in Marketing or Business, is preferred. Candidates with alternate tertiary education qualifications will be considered
- Ideally, we are seeking candidates with 3+ years previous experience in business development, preferably in the Architectural, Engineering (A/E) or Construction firms. We will also consider applicants who are a good match for the job requirements

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, where it is necessary to prioritize and manage multiple ongoing activities
- Proven experience of successful client relationship building, ideally within the A/E industry
