Business Development Contractor

Location: Remote

Pay Rate: $69.44 per hour

Position Overview

A leading data and AI technology company seeks a Business Development Contractor for a six-month remote engagement. This role identifies new opportunities, builds pipeline, and grows the partner and customer ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities within target markets
• Build and maintain pipeline through strategic outreach, networking, and referrals
• Engage prospects via phone, email, and virtual meetings
• Collaborate with internal sales and technical teams on proposals
• Track all activity and opportunities accurately in CRM
• Report on pipeline progress, conversion metrics, and market insights

Requirements

• 3+ years of B2B business development or sales experience
• Demonstrated ability to prospect and close new business independently
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• CRM proficiency (Salesforce, HubSpot, or equivalent)
• Ability to work fully remote with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in technology, data analytics, or cloud markets
• Familiarity with enterprise sales cycles
• SaaS or platform-based business development background
