This is a true player-coach role; designed for a high-performing outbound sales professional ready to take the next step into leadership while remaining hands-on.
As a Business Development Associate (Team Lead), you will drive your own sales performance while acting as a coach, mentor, and anchor for a growing team of Associates. You will play a critical role in accelerating new business growth across a significant untapped market of law firms, while supporting capability uplift, quality, and team engagement.
• Individual Performance: Own and exceed personal sales and activity targets through consistent outbound prospecting.
• Team Support: Support the wider team to achieve collective revenue outcomes and performance targets.
• Lead by Example: Demonstrate best practice in high-volume, phone-led outbound sales.
• Opportunity Management: Qualify, progress, and create high-quality opportunities for the Business Development team.
• Coaching & Development: Provide ongoing coaching, guidance, and real-time support to team members to improve performance and skill development.
• Lead Management: Manage inbound leads and execute structured outreach campaigns across defined territories.
• Pipeline & CRM Discipline: Maintain accurate records, ensuring strong pipeline visibility and data integrity.
• Insight Generation: Provide feedback on customer trends, market insights, and product opportunities.
• AI Fluency: Leverage AI tools and digital technologies to enhance productivity, coaching, and customer engagement.
• Proven experience in outbound sales, tele sales, or SDR environments.
• Strong track record of consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
• Natural coaching ability, with a passion for mentoring and lifting team performance.
• Resilient, driven, and comfortable operating in a high-rejection, high-activity environment.
• Creative and strategic in engaging decision-makers.
• Strong commercial acumen and confidence in customer-facing interactions.
• Proactive approach to self-development, with an interest in AI and modern sales tools.
