We are currently looking for a Business Development Associate to support one of our U.S.-based clients. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, managing sales pipelines, and driving business growth through a consultative sales approach.

As a Business Development Associate, you will own the complete sales pipeline, guiding prospective customers from their initial interaction through conversion. You'll be responsible for nurturing leads, conducting discovery conversations, maintaining accurate CRM data, and collaborating closely with Marketing to improve outreach efforts and increase conversion rates.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Pipeline Management

  • Own and manage the full sales pipeline from initial contact through customer conversion.
  • Conduct outbound and inbound outreach with prospective customers.
  • Lead discovery conversations to understand customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Develop and execute follow-up strategies to maintain engagement throughout the sales cycle.
  • Build long-term relationships with prospects while maintaining a consultative approach.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and ensure pipeline data is always up to date.

CRM & Sales Operations

  • Manage daily CRM activities, ensuring data accuracy and process consistency.
  • Build and monitor sales dashboards, reports, and pipeline forecasts.
  • Analyze conversion metrics and identify opportunities to improve sales performance.
  • Recommend and test new sales processes and pipeline optimization strategies.

Marketing Collaboration

  • Partner with the Marketing team to improve messaging, campaigns, and customer outreach.
  • Provide feedback on lead quality and customer insights.
  • Support customer segmentation and value proposition development.

Events & Industry Representation

  • Represent the company at conferences, networking events, and industry meetings.
  • Engage with prospective customers during events and manage post-event follow-up.
  • Travel as needed to support business development initiatives.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, Account Management, or a related client-facing role.
  • Professional English (written and spoken).
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience working with CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred).
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience using sales metrics and reporting.

Preferred

  • Experience in online education, SaaS, or professional services.
  • Experience in healthcare, senior living, or real estate industries.
  • Experience representing a company at conferences or networking events.
  • Salesforce administration, reporting, or dashboard experience.
