Location:Newtown, Sydney (Office-Based)
Hours:Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm
Salary:$55,000 – $60,000 base (DOE) + uncapped commission
OTE (Year 1):$80,000 – $100,000
Top Performers:$150,000+
Contract:Full-time, Permanent

As a Business Development Associate, you’ll be responsible for generating new business opportunities, connecting with decision-makers, building early relationships, and creating a strong pipeline for the sales team.

This role is designed for progression. High performers will quickly move into closing roles, with a clear path toward becoming an Event Sales Manager.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Proactively sourcing and qualifying new business opportunities

  • Reaching out to decision-makers via phone, email, and LinkedIn

  • Building relationships with potential exhibitors and sponsors

  • Understanding client needs and identifying relevant event solutions

  • Booking qualified meetings and handing over warm leads to the sales team

  • Keeping pipeline activity organised and up to date

  • Working closely with sales and marketing to drive growth
