WHAT YOU WILL DO?

The Business Development Associate (BD Associate) will be part of the Business Development team and is critical in generating new leads to create significant additional growth leading to increased, sustainable yearly revenues. You will be tasked to initiate, expand and coordinate Trustmoore Singapore’s commercial activities. The BD Associate will also be a creative strategist and is expected to bring new brand expansion ideas to the table.

Main responsibilities are:

• Build long-term partnerships with prospects and feeders to identify new business opportunities;

• Lead new client onboarding, including KYC/AML due diligence with the compliance team;

• Log meeting notes, discussion points, and follow-ups in Trustmoore's CRM;

• Keep deal information updated in the CRM for accurate reporting;

• Identify, qualify, and convert leads into meetings and mandates; represent Trustmoore at industry events;

• Spot upselling opportunities within the existing client base;

• Partner with marketing to plan and run business development and thought leadership events end-to-end;

• Travel for client, prospect, and feeder meetings as needed;

• Maintain a systematic follow-up process with the Commercial Director for leads and clients;

• Manage a client portfolio as primary point of contact, liaising with external stakeholders;

• Prepare RFP responses and fee proposals;

• Contribute to thought leadership and marketing content for clients and feeders;

• Perform other tasks as required by the role.

HOW DO YOU FIT IN THE TEAM?

The BD Associate has an entrepreneurial mindset and should support the Business Development Team in onboarding new clients by spearheading the client KYC process. In this role you consistently take the initiative – proactively following up on prospects and leads, and keeping the most pressing business development priorities moving.

Other relevant qualifications for this profile:

• At least 2 years of experience within the corporate and fund services industry;

• Experience in client onboarding, due diligence (KYC/AML) and compliance is preferred;

• A basic understanding of corporate and fund structures;

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present ideas effectively;

• Excellent organizational skills - ability to manage multiple projects at any given point in time;

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English;

• Self-motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team;

• Personal credibility, integrity, and high moral standards;

• Commercial and entrepreneurial. Results driven, yet meticulous.
