Job Summary


We are seeking a proactive and results-driven
Business Development Associate

to support our client’s growth by driving client acquisition, building relationships, and supporting the development of high-quality proposals. The role offers exposure to sustainability consulting projects while providing a platform to grow professionally in business development and client engagement.

Key Responsibilities


  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through outreach, follow-ups, and client meetings.


  • Convert warm leads and past contacts into active accounts.


  • Manage the sales process end-to-end — from prospecting to deal closure.


  • Collaborate with consultants to prepare tailored proposals, RFPs, and presentations.


  • Conduct market research to identify new sectors and growth opportunities.


  • Support partnership development with accelerators, funding bodies, and ecosystem partners.


  • Maintain an updated sales pipeline and track progress against revenue targets.


Requirements


Candidate Profile


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field (preferred; strong experience may substitute).


  • 1–3 years of experience in business development, B2B sales, or other client-facing roles.


  • Proven ability to generate leads, build relationships, and close business.


  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; comfortable engaging decision-makers.


  • Proactive, resilient, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.


  • Interest in sustainability, climate action, or social impact is a strong advantage.
