Business Development and Sales Representative
Starting at $65,000 + Commissions
We are seeking an extraordinary Business Development and Sales Representative with a proven track record of success in sales to join our team. As the face of Paul Davis in the community, you will be responsible for driving top-line revenue growth by expanding our market presence, building high-value relationships with residential and commercial property owners and managers for our commercial restoration and reconstruction services.
This role will primarily be for our additional office location on the west side of Cleveland, address TBD shortly.
Business Development Responsibilities:
- Build relationships with commercial property owners and managers through meetings, events, and association memberships.
- Actively prospect and generate leads through cold calling, networking, and referrals.
- Maintain relationships with customers throughout projects to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project close.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in our CRM system.
- Present innovative ideas to implement new marketing strategies.
- Develop a budget for business development activities and maintain organized schedule of events throughout the year.
- Conduct in-person visits 3-4 days a week to potential clients to establish relationships and understand their needs..
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of sales opportunities.
- Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly and yearly sales targets.
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Stay informed about industry trends and competitor offerings.
Qualifications:
- Strong hunter mentality.
- Comfortable with route sales and cold calling.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with strong time management skills.
- Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for in-person visits.
Competency – Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Knowledge of CRM systems

- Ability to learn and operate our primary operating systems: RMS, Luxor, SharePoint, and One Drive
- Ability to coordinate marketing events from start to finish

Required Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 3+ years experience in an outside sales (B2B) role preferred
- Proven success track record of succeeding YOY goals
- Working knowledge and book of contacts
- CRM experience
- Ability to maintain an acceptable background and MVR check during employment
- Ability to operate a company vehicle safely
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Associate Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
- Experience in the Restoration, Construction, or Insurance industry
Travel
Local travel based on job requirements. Travel (local) may be up to 70%.
