Context & Environment

Join TotalEnergies’ Gas, Renewables & Power (GRP) branch and contribute to the development of renewable energy projects across Southeast Asia.

As a member of the APAC Business Development team, you will support the identification, assessment, and execution of investment opportunities in the solar, wind, and battery storage sectors. You will participate in project evaluation, acquisition processes, and the development of strategic partnerships.

Activities

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Analyzing investment opportunities in the renewable energy sector.
• Assessing the technical and economic potential of projects.
• Preparing investment presentations and internal approval documents.
• Coordinating due diligence activities with internal teams and external advisors.
• Conducting financial valuations and reviewing project business models.
• Supporting commercial negotiations and transaction structuring.
• Building and maintaining long-term relationships with partners and industry stakeholders.
• Contributing to the preparation of business cases through to final investment decision.
• Performing market, regulatory, and macroeconomic analyses.
• Monitoring opportunities and reporting on Business Development activities.

Candidate Profile

Requirements

• Master's degree (minimum Bac+5): University master’s in economics/finance, Business School degree, or Engineering degree with a specialization in Finance.

Qualifications and Skills

• Initial experience in finance, M&A, private equity, or transaction advisory.
• Experience in renewable energy is considered an asset.
• Good understanding of acquisition processes.
• Knowledge of corporate finance, project finance, and financial modeling.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word (minimum intermediate level).
• English: minimum B2/C1 level.
• French: minimum B1/B2 level.
