YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Identify, evaluate and develop new business opportunities aligned with AVL’s strategic focus areas (sustainable mobility, electrification, digitalization).
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers (OEMs, Tier1s and mobility stakeholders) in collaboration with the local sales team.
• Analyze market trends (e-mobility, hydrogen, ADAS, software-defined vehicle, cybersecurity) and translate them into concrete business opportunities.
• Define compelling value propositions and integrated solutions (engineering, testing, simulation, digitalization).
• Manage the commercial pipeline, ensuring efficient opportunity qualification and conversion.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product and operations teams to ensure competitive and feasible offers.
• Support the preparation of technical and commercial proposals and participate in contract negotiations.
• Perform market and competitor analysis to anticipate industry developments.
• Contribute to growth strategies, including expansion into new markets or segments.
• Ensure business opportunities contribute to revenue, profitability and strategic positioning.

YOUR PROFILE:

• Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Mechatronics or Automotive Engineering.
• Recent graduate or with initial professional experience.
• Strong interest in business development, mobility and innovation.
• Analytical mindset with commercial orientation.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent English is mandatory; German is a plus.
