Our Commercial team is expanding, and we're looking for an ambitious, self-starting salesperson to help us bring VSTEP's simulators to new customers and markets across the world.
VSTEP is a growing maritime simulation company based in Rotterdam. We build simulators that combine our own software with hardware tailored to each client, and we supply them to training centers, schools, and navies around the world. Our work helps prepare the people who keep ships and crews safe at sea.
The company consists out of around 70 people with diverse backgrounds from all over the world. We believe this diversity makes the company a great place to work where there is room for growth and learning.
This is an opportunity to take ownership: you'll join a growing team where you can help shape strategy and drive results from day one, work alongside a team of four Business Developers, and expand your scope quickly as we scale.
You'll join the Commercial department and drive sales of our simulators through partners, direct sales, new leads, and existing clients across the world. You'll hunt for new business and stay the client's main point of contact through the whole sales process.

VSTEP is a leading innovator in maritime simulation technology, enabling learning through solutions that enhance training effectiveness, cultivate essential skills, advance safety, and promote sustainability. Since 2002, VSTEP’s innovation and deep maritime expertise have transformed how academies, fleet owners, port authorities, and navies prepare for the challenges of modern seafaring. Our simulation solutions span navigation and ship handling, inland radar and fairway operations, towage and escort, and bridge training, so maritime professionals and organizations have the tools they need to succeed. By recreating vessel hydrodynamics and environmental conditions with fidelity, our simulators allow learners to practice critical manoeuvres, experience emergency scenarios, and strengthen decision making in safe, realistic environments. Through learning by simulation, VSTEP helps the maritime world learn faster, work safer, and operate more sustainably.
