Altirus Road, a GEICO company, is seeking a motivated Business Developer to support the growth of our roadside assistance, claims administration, and appraisal solutions.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, solving client challenges, and contributing to business growth. Working closely with Business Development leadership, you will help support existing client relationships, identify new business opportunities, coordinate client initiatives, and contribute to the growth of a newly established team.
The Business Developer serves as a key point of contact for client inquiries, supports onboarding and implementation activities, and helps identify opportunities to strengthen client partnerships. This role offers exposure to executive leadership, strategic client initiatives, and the opportunity to help shape a growing business. This position is fully remote with the option to work from a GEICO office location if preferred and requires approximately 10% to 20% travel for client meetings, industry events, and business development activities.
Key Responsibilities
Client Management
·Serve as a day-to-day point of contact for assigned clients, building strong relationships, and delivering a positive client experience.
·Conduct regular client check-ins, address inquiries, and coordinate issue resolution with internal teams.
·Support onboarding and implementation activities to ensure seamless client experience.
·Monitor client performance data and identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
·Prepare and deliver client presentations, business reviews, and performance summaries.
·Train clients on Altirus Road products, reporting tools, and service capabilities.
·Maintain a strong understanding of client goals and identify opportunities to strengthen partnerships.
Business Development
·Research and identify prospective clients within target markets.
·Generating and qualify leads through networking, referrals, industry events, and outreach efforts.
·Support the development of presentations, proposals, and RFP responses.
·Coordinate meetings and relationship-building activities with prospective clients.
·Maintain accurate pipeline and prospecting records within CRM systems.
·Represent Altirus Road at conferences, trade shows, and networking events.
·Support Business Development leadership in executing growth strategies and pursuing new opportunities.
Collaboration & Insights
·Partner with Operations, Claims, IT/Product, Legal, and Compliance teams to support client needs and business objectives.
·Gather market intelligence and customer feedback to support growth initiatives.
·Provide leadership with updates on client health, pipeline activity, and growth opportunities.
·Assist in developing processes, tools, and best practices as the Business Development function continues to grow.
·Maintain working knowledge of relevant industry trends and insurance-related products and services.
Qualifications
Required
·3+ years of experience in business development, account management, client services, insurance, consulting, or related field.
·Strong communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills.
·Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
·Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed recommendations.
·Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint.
·Ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
·Willingness and ability to travel approximately 10%-20%.
Preferred
·Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
·Experience in business-to-business sales, account management, customer success, or relationship management.
·Exposure to proposal development, RFP responses, or sales support activities.
·Experience developing and delivering client-facing presentations.
·Familiarity with CRM platforms and reporting tools.
·Knowledge of insurance, claims administration, roadside assistance, appraisal services, or TPA operations.
·Experience working in a growing business or newly established team.

Annual Salary
$59,450.00 - $115,825.00
The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
