You will support our business development efforts across Europe, searching for attractive leads, and closing complex B2B deals with large energy consumers. You will operate with a high degree of autonomy, acting as a partner to our global sales, marketing, and revenue operations teams.
Location: Spain (ideally Valencia or Madrid, but we are open to remote / hybrid set up, too)

What about the role?
You’ll play a key role in growing E&C’s footprint by:
Supporting business development: executing E&C’s outbound and inbound growth strategy across European energy market
Research & lead generation: conducting market research and identifying attractive leads and opportunities within defined target markets
Developing customer solutions: creating tailored plans for prospective customers by identifying their needs and presenting relevant services and solutions
Sales presentations: preparing and delivering engaging sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients
Managing pipeline & revenue growth: converting a robust sales pipeline - managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, including proposals, negotiations, and deal execution
Relationship management: building and maintaining strong customer relationships to understand customer needs and ensure a high level of service
Market analysis: analyzing trends, opportunities, and competitors within the energy risk management and energy technology space
CRM management: ensuring CRM systems are consistently maintained and always kept up to date
Brand ambassadorship: representing E&C Group at industry events, conferences, and seminars to promote our services and build brand awareness (with much help of our marketing team, no worries!)
What will set you up for success?
We believe you’ll thrive in this role if you bring:
Energy industry experience and market knowledge is good to have, but not required: as long as you are genuinely interested in the subject - we will teach you all the rest!
B2B sales experience: ideally 2-3 years of experience (but if you have more or less and still feel it’s a strong fit, also apply!)
Communication & influence: ability to engage credibly with C-level stakeholders and influence decision-making in complex buying environments
Strategic & autonomous mindset: comfortable operating independently, setting, and managing your priorities
Language requirements: native or C2-level English is required. Native or C2-level German or French is considered a strong plus
Travel: willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events
